3rd Annual Members’ Art Show
Registration Deadline: May 2, 2020 Exhibition dates: June 3 – June 27, 2020
The Brownsville Museum of Fine Art is encouraging its members to submit artwork for the 3rd Annual Members Art Show. All artwork must have been created within the last 5 years and not have been previously exhibited at BMFA. We encourage all the artists to have their art work for sale.
All artists 18 and older with a current museum membership are welcome to submit their artwork.

Entry fee is twenty-five dollars ($25), all members may exhibit up to three pieces of their artwork for a single fee. At least one artwork must be original and for sale, (However, copy artwork will not be for sale). A ten dollar ($10) fee will be charge for any additional artwork participating, not to exceed 6 art pieces in total.
Submissions are required by museum closing time at 4 p.m. (Central Time), May 2, 2020.

CONDITIONS AND RULES:
All Hanging Art must be equipped with D-rings or wire (in good condition), ready for hanging. Sawtooth hangers will NOT be accepted under any conditions.
Artists may not substitute another work after entry form has been submitted, The BMFA reserves the right to not display works if they are not presented in the format specified or if the physical work vastly differs from the submitted image. By submitting your entry, the artist grants permission to the BMFA to publish their images for BMFA publicity purposes for the Members Art Show in both printed and electronic forms (All credits to artist will be included). All artwork must be on display for the duration of the show.
DELIVERY AND PICK-UP:
Artists are responsible for transportation of their artwork. Artists hand-delivering work must do so between May 18-22, 2020. Pick up of artwork is between June 29 thru July 3, 2020; during regular museum hours.
Hanging Art [Canvas, Mix Media and Repousse] – No Larger Than 36” x 48” / Weight limit: 15 lbs. (If artwork is larger than maximum dimensions, including diptychs and triptychs, the entry fee will be for multiple paintings).
Sculptures – No Larger Than 4 ft x 5 ft / Weight limit: 150 lbs. Artist are required to do installation and deinstallation of own sculpture.
ART FOR SALE:
The BMFA will receive 30% of the selling price of any art sold as a direct result of this exhibition. Only original artwork will be for sale.
