We invite you to the 6th Annual Resaca Art Exhibition, proudly hosted by the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art and the Brownsville Public Utilities Board. This unique exhibition celebrates the environmental and ecological impact, as well as the flora and fauna of resacas, showcasing their natural beauty through the eyes of talented artists.
The exhibition features diverse artworks inspired by the resacas of the Rio Grande Valley. You’ll have the opportunity to explore paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and more. Each piece reflects the diverse aspects of these unique ecosystems.
Join us in appreciating the creativity and passion of artists from our community. Plus, you’ll have the chance to support these artists by potentially purchasing original artwork. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pieces: $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place, so stop by to see the winners.
